Do you ever feel like you live in a policed state? Tonight on the way to the store I was run down by a police car quickly followed by another. So I pull over, and they blow by. Ahead everybody slowly pulls over. But some jerk is in their way, so they have to go around him. So I start to mumble about the idiots that won't pull over and come to find out its another cop. He follows his little buddies and they all meet up at the 7-11 where another cop car is waiting. Apparently it takes four squad cars to settle a one man altercation in a parking lot. Did I mention that this was in an area of only four blocks that these police cars came from. Then coming back from the store 20 minutes later, I see another cop that has someone pulled over in the mall parking lot. Its a USU policeman well out of his jurisdiction. He felt that he saw something that needed his advisement on. There is a fine line between feeling safe and feeling harassed. And in Logan you are completely and totally harassed to death.
